Jude was admitted to the hospital for the first time today. We’ve been living at the Ronald McDonald House and doing outpatient chemotherapy, but my insurance doesn’t allow outpatient chemotherapy on weekends. So although everything is going as planned, we have to be admitted for the weekend. We will stay in the hospital through the beginning of next week because he will recieve a larger dose of the chemotherapy drug Busalfan and a drug he’s not had yet called ATG. So, it’s really a combination of my insurance, and the new drugs he’ll get that will keep us in the hospital for 4-6 days.
