Grand Ave and St Clair, aka my front porch. I have been walking out of my house and standing on my front porch the past few days. I just like to watch bikes come speeding by for a few minutes each morning before we walk to the hospital.
It could be a good day today, because I woke up to see that another person has registered themselves to potentially be a bone marrow donor. Maybe it sounds stupid. I can see people thinking “just worry about your own kid right now.” To see other people sign up helps me mentally though, it’s really selfish of me. Either way, in the process we could save someone’s life, so register yourself.
“Clinical diagnoses are important, since they give the doctor a certain orientation; but they do not help the patient. The curial thing is the story. For it alone shows the human background and the human suffering, and only at that point can the doctor’s therapy begin to operate.” -Carl Jung
